$2,000 Community Fitness Incentive from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan!
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is donating a $2,000 incentive prize for the community with the most per-person miles. Each participant selects one of 12 communities to walk for. At program completion, the community with the most miles per person will be awarded $2,000 to enhance community physical activity.
There are many ways this money can be used including park equipment, trail enhancement, and physical activity events to name a few. The goal will be to implement something the entire winning community can benefit from.
The winning community will receive the monetary award, a small press event, an article in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Newsletter, and a spot on the Let’s Get Moving Northern Michigan homepage!
