Summer 2008

LGMNM Logo 2.JPG

(  notice our new logo has stepped into the scene !!  )

Okay you guys.....

.....we survived another blistery winter.

...... it's time to get out of that lazy boy  !!!

Summer of 2008 kicks-off on

May 19th at the Civic Center !!!

5:00pm - 7:00pm

If you’re looking for a source of inspiration to get up and do something - running related or not, you certainly do not want to miss this event!  Inspired by this year's summer Olympics, the speaker at this year's kick-off will be Billy Mills.  Billy won a Gold Medal for USA in the 10,000 meter run at the 1964 Olympics in Tokyo.  Later a movie called "Running Brave" highlighted this event in one of, if not the most exciting come from behind wins in history.

......he still holds the record for the 10,000 meter.....

 Learn from Mills...believe in yourself...

- overcome -

....and focus on your dreams.
