The Let's Get Moving Northern Michigan program for 2006 kicked off on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at Noon in Washington Park. About 20 people joined us for a group walk.

Registration for the Let's Get Moving Northern Michigan program in Cheboygan and Indian River will be available several different ways:

Indian River Chamber of Commerce

When you register we will need the following information: name, address, phone number, email address.

Once you have registered, please take a booklet to log your weekly miles in. Please do not take a booklet if you are not signing up for the program.

 

 

Weekly Winners

Each week the winners of the weekly prize drawings for those individuals who turn in their weekly miles coupons will be posted here.

For 2007 the weekly winners are as follows:

Week 1: Allison Hansen won a lumbar cushion from VitalCare, and Joshua Scripko won a water bottle and free care wash from Splash and Dash Car Wash as well as a salad from McDonalds.

Week 2: Dale Carter won a fitness cord from VitalCare, and Ron Ippolito won a North Central Michigan College T-shirt and a free McDonald's salad.

Week 3: Elisabeth Hansen won a gift bag compliments of Jackie Lardie, CMH Nurse Practitioner and Doris Braley won a exercise ball and meditation CD from CMH Physical Therapy Dept.

Week 4: Lori Carlson won a neck pillow from VitalCare and Kayla Balitz won a gam set from Cheboygan Memorial Hospital.

Week 5: Tom Gauthier won a hat from Citizens National Bank and a book/pedometer from Cheboygan Health Department. Beth LaFramboise won a mug from weight watchers, a salad from McDonalds and a hat from Citizens National Bank.

Week 6: Ed Kruegar won a free car wash at Splash & Dash and a hat from Citizens National Bank. Niles Weatherway won a Cheboygan Memorial Hospital lunch pail, mug and hat.

Week 7: Chelsea Childs won an exercise ball from VitalCare and Karen Fish won a fitness cord from VitalCare.

Week 8: Ben Hansen Sr. won an exercise ball from VitalCare and a free salad from McDonald's. Rose Roberson won a strength training book from VitalCare and a free salad from McDonald's.

Week 9: Alice MacFarland won a thermos from North Central Michigan Community College, a free salad from McDonalds and a hat from Citizens National Bank. Karin Charboneau won a book from VitalCare and a free salad from McDonalds. Samantha Hansen won a North Central Michigan Community College T-shirt, a free salad from McDonalds and a hat from Citizens National Bank.

Week 11: Elaine Pray won a fitness cord from Vital Care and a free salad from McDonalds, Wendy Caulkins won a thermos from North Central Michigan College and  free salad from McDonalds, and Kathy Passino won a cushion from Vital Care and free salad from Mc Donalds.

Week 12:  Sandra Gray won a CNB cap, CMH mug, and free salad from McDonalds, Eddie Robinson won a CNB cap, CMH mug and free salad from McDonalds, Melissa Lalond won a CNB hat, CMH penlight and free car wash and water bottle from Splash and Dash Car Wash .

Week 13:  George Comben won a CNB cap, free car wash and water bottle from Splash and Dash Car Wash, and CMH mug, Diana Burgtorf won a CMH cap, CMH mug and free salad from McDonalds, Marge Stempky won a CNB cap, CMH penlight and CMH mug.

Week 14:  David Brown and Barbara Pickett both won hats from Citizens National Bank and pedometers from Cheboygan Rotary.

Week 15:  Pam Miller won a yoga tape from Cheboygan Rotary and a cap from Citizens National Bank.  Jodi Drogowski won a cap from CNB and a pedometer from Cheboygan Rotary.
